The design process at Craftycakehole is focused upon our clients brief. Getting to know you, your vision for the big day and where it will take place are all part of that process; resulting in a unique, bespoke cake that compliments your wedding theme & the venue but above all you as a couple and as individuals. So, when you enquire please feel free to inundate us with as much detail as you can and would like to. But equally, don't worry if you're a little overwelmed or undecided about what your cake should be. We're here to inspire and guide you. A few details about the dress, the venue and an insight into your personalities will soon have us well on the way to a fabulous cake design.
The flavour and texture of a Craftycakehole cake is as important as its 'look' and for a multi tier wedding cake getting those flavour combinations right is paramount. Think about whether your cake is in addition to or will be served as dessert. If it's going to be served later in the day after a pudding you may like a contrasting flavour. A trio of lemon puddings followed by a slice of lemon drizzle wedding cake may be a bit of a citrus overload for some. Though a yummy chocolate fondant for dessert complimented by a decadent multi tier Chocfest wedding cake never did anyone any harm in my opinion! When making flavour decisions you'll want to consider your guests tastes and cater but please be sure you choose something you like too. Grabbing a quiet moment together during the wedding reception to sit and enjoy a slice of the yummy cake you've ordered is a lovely way to have a little bit of you time on what will no doubt be a very busy day.

Moist, Madagascan vanilla infused sponge layered with raspberry or strawberry conserve and rich vanilla buttercream.
Light lemon sponge with just the right amount of zesty lemon drizzle, layered with lemon curd and a lemon or vanilla buttercream.
Rich fudgey chocolate sponge, layered a rich chocolate fudge buttercream or alternatively a lighter madagascan vanilla buttercream.

White Chocolate Mud Cake

A delicious chocolate and coffee combo. Chocolate cake enhanced with an expresso shot or two. Works well with chocolate, coffee & vanilla buttercream
A rich dark fuitcake loaded with a variety of quality dried fuits. Made with our own recipe and method to ensure a beautifully moist cake.
A beautifully moist cake layered with vanilla buttercream. A cream cheese frosting can be offered in some circumstances.

A great alternative to a fruit cake that can be offered with or without a filling though creamy vanilla is a lovely contrast.
